Revolver Repair
Specification Checks. More than any other design, the revolver has clear, and somewhat universal, specific minimum and maximum clearances and tolerances. We measure and report head space, barrel to cylinder gap, cylinder and yoke rotational trueness, endshake, firing pin energy, ranging and other measures of revolver safety and performance.
Chamfer barrel throat. Accuracy depends in part on a smooth transition into the barrel across the gap from the cylinder. Bullet alignment with the rifling is refined and made repeatable.
De-spur Hammer. We remove the hammer spur to make pocketing the revolver easier.
