Rifle Repair

Lapping Scope Rings. If your expectation in rifle shooting is to shoot beyond 200 yards, extra care must go into mounting a scope. Making sure the inside of the rings are flat and true is important in that case.

Adjusting bolt handles. Sometimes they need to be bent down to clear a scope, or cut off and rewelded in a different position.

Accurizing. If a rifle is to shoot well further out then 200 yards the bolt must fit the barrel true. The barrel must fit the action true. The action must fit the stock solidly. The barrel must not be influenced by the stock or the shooter from shot to shot. Attending to these things is called ‘Accurizing’.

ARs. We do just about all there is to do for Modern Sporting Rifles. Sights, rails, stocks, handguards, bolts, carriers, gas blocks, gas tubes, buffers.

Rifle Scope Rings
Scope rings after lapping. Insides are straight, true, and parallel.

"Jed was absolutely terrific to work with."

"Provided fair estimates and over-delivered on my expectations. I came in with the intractable problem of a stripped hex-head due using red Loctite [I should have used blue]. Jed repaired the problem with thoughtful precision. Highly recommended."
